What it does
Adding badges to products one at a time gets tedious fast, and they go stale when prices or stock change. This plugin lets you build global labels that apply to groups of products, plus single labels for individual items. A conditional framework controls where each global label appears, based on details such as category, sale status, stock quantity, price or product brand. Once the rules are set, the right products pick up the right labels without you editing each listing.
Labels can carry dynamic values, so a sale badge can show the discount as a percentage or a fixed amount and stay accurate when prices change. You pick from six label types or upload your own image, then set colors and alignment to match your store design. A live preview shows the result before you publish. Developers can also extend the label conditions through hooks. The plugin requires WooCommerce.
Best for
- WooCommerce stores running frequent sales and discounts
- Shops highlighting new arrivals, bestsellers or free shipping
- Developers building custom labeling rules for client stores

Questions about Advanced Product Labels
Can the sale badge show the actual discount amount?
Yes. Smart labels calculate the discount for you and can display it either as a percentage or as a fixed amount. Because the value is calculated from the product price, you do not need to update the label by hand when a sale price changes.
Can I show labels only on certain products?
Yes. Global labels use a conditional framework, so you can target products by category, sale status, stock quantity, price, product brand and more. You can also add a single label directly to an individual product when it needs its own badge.
Can I use my own label design instead of the built-in styles?
You can. Along with six predefined label types, there is an option to upload a custom label image. You can also choose predefined or custom colors and set the alignment of each label to fit your store's look.
Does this work without WooCommerce?
No. Advanced Product Labels is built as a WooCommerce extension and requires WooCommerce to be active, since it adds labels to WooCommerce products and reads their prices, stock and categories.
Is Advanced Product Labels free?
The code of Advanced Product Labels is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Advanced Product Labels is this?
Version 1.4, released Apr 27, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Advanced Product Labels?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Advanced Product Labels automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
What does Advanced Product Labels need?
Advanced Product Labels needs WooCommerce installed and active.
