What it does

Putting music or spoken audio on a WordPress site usually means juggling embeds or plain audio tags that look out of place. This plugin builds on the free AudioIgniter plugin, which it requires, and gives you one place to manage playlists. You can batch upload MP3 files, let the plugin fill in track names and artist details from the file metadata, and reorder tracks with drag and drop. Each playlist can have its own shuffle, repeat, starting track and delay settings.

Once a playlist is ready, you can choose a Full, Compact or Footer Sticky player and drop it in with a block for the block editor, a widget for Elementor or WP Bakery, or a shortcode. Typography and colors can be adjusted in the WordPress Customizer. Listeners get playback rate and skip controls, lyrics per track, streaming service buttons and a player that remembers where they stopped. An analytics dashboard shows how visitors interact with your tracks.

Best for

  • Musicians and bands sharing albums or singles
  • Podcasters publishing episodes on WordPress
  • DJs and broadcasters running audio-heavy websites

Features

Several player layouts

Pick a Full, Compact or Footer Sticky player layout so the audio player fits the page and the way visitors browse your site.

Batch upload with metadata

Upload many audio files at once, and track names and artist details are filled in automatically from uploaded MP3 files, then reorder tracks with drag and drop.

Per playlist playback settings

Set shuffle, repeat modes, the starting track and a delay between tracks separately for each playlist you create.

Lyrics and streaming links

Add lyrics to individual tracks and attach buttons linking each track to streaming platforms where listeners can find your music.

Page builder and block support

Embed players with dedicated Elementor and WP Bakery widgets, a block for the WordPress block editor, or standalone shortcodes and widgets.

Resume and playback controls

The player remembers the last played track and position, and listeners can change playback speed and skip tracks as they like.

No overlapping audio

When a new track starts, playback in other players on the page stops automatically, so two tracks never play over each other.

Listening analytics dashboard

An analytics dashboard shows listening habits and track interactions, helping you see which audio content your visitors play.

Questions about AudioIgniter Pro

Do I need anything else for this plugin to work?

Yes. It works as an add-on to the free AudioIgniter plugin, so that plugin needs to be active on your site. The Pro features then add extra player layouts, playlist settings, styling options and analytics on top of it.

Can I keep a player visible while visitors move between sections of a page?

Yes. You can use the Footer Sticky Player layout or a fixed position player widget, which stays visible as users scroll. Combined with the option to remember the last played track and position, listeners can keep going where they left off.

Can I use it with Elementor or the block editor?

It includes dedicated widgets for Elementor and WP Bakery, plus a block for the WordPress block editor. You can also place players anywhere with shortcodes and standard widgets.

Can I change how the player looks?

You can choose between Full, Compact and Footer Sticky layouts, and override the player typography and colors through the WordPress Customizer so it matches your site design.

Is AudioIgniter Pro free?

The code of AudioIgniter Pro is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.

Which version of AudioIgniter Pro is this?

Version 2.0.3, released Sep 16, 2025. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.

How do I update AudioIgniter Pro?

Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of AudioIgniter Pro automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.

What does AudioIgniter Pro need?

AudioIgniter Pro needs AudioIgniter installed and active.
