Reacting to changes in that data usually means custom code or manual checks. This add-on gives AutomatorWP triggers and actions tied to your Advanced Custom Fields data, so a field update can kick off a workflow on its own, and a workflow can update a field in return.
You set up each automation in AutomatorWP's visual builder by picking a trigger, adding conditions and choosing actions. Triggers can watch fields such as text, select, checkbox and repeater. Actions include sending emails, changing user roles or updating a page field with a value. Because it plugs into AutomatorWP, ACF triggers can be combined with workflows that involve WooCommerce, LearnDash, BuddyPress and other supported plugins.
