What it does
Running a Q&A community involves a lot of small, repeated chores. Someone posts a good answer and deserves a reward, a regular contributor should move up to a new role, or a member needs a notification after reaching a milestone. Doing all of that by hand takes time and is easy to forget. This add-on hands those jobs to AutomatorWP, so the reaction to each activity happens on its own once you set the rules.
You work inside AutomatorWP and build automation recipes using AnsPress activity as the trigger. Supported events include posting a question, posting an answer, adding a comment and receiving votes on a post. From there you can change user roles, send personalized notifications, or hand out rewards and badges. Because it runs on AutomatorWP, you can also combine it with other AutomatorWP add-ons to build automations that span more than one plugin on your site.
