What it does
Running out of stock usually means a shopper lands on a product page, sees it is unavailable and leaves. This plugin gives that shopper a way to stay in touch. A sign-up form appears on sold-out product pages, and each sign-up is added to a waitlist for that item. When you restock, the plugin sends an email to the people waiting, so they hear about it without checking back on their own.
It runs inside WooCommerce, which it requires, and works with Product Bundles. A Stock Notifications Dashboard shows customer activity and which sold-out items have the most sign-ups, which helps you decide what to restock first. You choose whether guests can sign up or only logged-in customers, and you can turn on double opt-in. Waitlists can also be exported for use in your email marketing platform.
Best for
- WooCommerce stores that often sell out of popular products
- Shops with limited runs, seasonal stock or slow restocks
- Store owners who want demand data for restocking decisions
Features
Customers can join a waitlist directly from a sold-out product page, and the form re-checks stock on submit so nobody signs up for an item that is already available.
When a product comes back in stock, the plugin emails every customer on its waitlist automatically, so you do not have to contact anyone by hand.
See which sold-out products have the highest demand, giving you a clearer picture of what to reorder first and how to plan inventory.
A central dashboard lets you monitor customer sign-up activity and product demand in one place inside your WooCommerce admin.
Support for double opt-in confirms each sign-up, and customers get simple unsubscribe options, which helps you respect privacy preferences.
Customers can view and manage their stock notifications from their My Account page, keeping control of their alerts in their own hands.
Choose whether to limit notifications to logged-in users or allow guests to sign up, depending on how you want your store to work.
Export subscriber data from your waitlists and bring it into your preferred email marketing platform for follow-up campaigns.

Questions about Back In Stock Notifications
How do customers sign up for a back in stock alert?
A sign-up form appears on the product page when an item is sold out. The customer submits it and joins that product's waitlist. When stock returns, the plugin emails them automatically. Logged-in customers can also manage their notifications from the My Account page.
Can guests sign up, or only registered customers?
You decide. The plugin lets you restrict notifications to logged-in users or allow guest sign-ups. Many stores allow guests to capture more interest, while others limit it to account holders for tighter control over their customer list.
Does it work with Product Bundles?
Yes. The plugin is compatible with Product Bundles, so you can offer restock alerts on bundled products as well. It requires WooCommerce to run, since it builds on WooCommerce product and stock data.
Can I use the waitlist data for email marketing?
Yes. You can export waitlist contacts and import them into your preferred email marketing platform. Double opt-in and unsubscribe options help you respect customer preferences, and the dashboard shows which products have the most demand.
