What it does
Most stores show the same notices to every shopper, even when a message only applies to certain products or customers. This plugin lets you decide who sees what. You might flag a product that is low in stock, mention an upcoming sale, suggest a complementary item when something specific is in the cart, or show an offer only to a particular user role. Each message stays hidden until its conditions match, so shoppers see content that relates to what they are viewing or buying.
Content is controlled through a rule builder, so you can set up conditions without writing code. Rules can draw on product category, type, price range, stock status, sale dates, cart products and quantities, user roles and individual users. Once a rule is ready, you place the content using a list of predefined WooCommerce hook locations, or use custom filters and template tags for spots the list does not cover. It requires WooCommerce and also works alongside dynamic pricing rules to explain pricing tiers and offers.
Best for
- WooCommerce stores wanting product-specific notices
- Shops running member-only or VIP offers by user role
- Developers placing custom messages with hooks and template tags

Questions about Conditional Content
Do I need to know how to code to set up rules?
No. Conditions are created in a rule builder, so you can target content by product, cart, stock or user role without coding. If you want content in a location the predefined hooks do not cover, custom filters and template tags are available for more technical setups.
Can I show a message only when certain items are in the cart?
Yes. Cart-based rules can trigger notices or offers based on the products or quantities in the cart. This is useful for suggesting add-ons or pointing shoppers to related bundles when they add specific items.
Can different customers see different content?
Yes. You can target content to specific user roles or to individual users. That lets you show members-only promotions, VIP deals or targeted upsells to the right people while other visitors see nothing extra.
Where on my store can the content appear?
You can pick from a list of predefined WooCommerce hook locations to place content across your store. For other positions, the plugin supports custom filters and template tags so content can be added where your theme needs it.
Is Conditional Content free?
The code of Conditional Content is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Conditional Content is this?
Version 2.3.15, released Sep 21, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
