What it does
Most WooCommerce stores know what they sell an item for but have no clear record of what it cost to bring in. This plugin adds that missing side. You record purchase prices, other costs and shipping costs for your products, and the plugin can calculate cost of goods from those figures. With costs in place, you can see profit margins per product and across orders, which gives you a clearer basis for pricing and buying decisions.
The work happens in a spreadsheet-style table editor where you can sort, filter and change costs, markups, shipping fees and stock for many products at once. Price suggestions are based on your costs and markups, and VAT-inclusive and exclusive pricing are both handled. Reports cover sales, profits, refunds and customer activity, with range filters and export to CSV or .xlsx. It can also work with the native WooCommerce cost of goods field.
Best for
- WooCommerce store owners who want to see real profit margins
- Shops with large catalogs needing bulk cost and price edits
- Stores selling in regions where VAT pricing matters
Features
Update purchase costs, markups and stock levels across your catalog in one pass instead of opening each product page separately.
The plugin recommends prices based on the costs and markups you enter, so you don't have to calculate each selling price by hand.
Change shipping fees, costs, stock and other product details in a table view with sorting and filtering options for quick navigation.
Track sales, profits, refunds and customer activity, with customizable filters to narrow reports to the products or orders you care about.
Filter reports and product data by purchase price, markup, profit or other metrics to find low-margin items or spot pricing problems.
Manage both VAT-inclusive and VAT-exclusive prices, which helps stores that need to show tax clearly to their customers.
Refunds appear directly in order and product reports, so your profit figures reflect money that went back to customers.
Export reports and filtered data to CSV or .xlsx files for bookkeeping, spreadsheets or analysis outside WooCommerce.

Questions about Cost Reports
Does this plugin need WooCommerce?
Yes. It is built for WooCommerce and works with your store's products and orders. It can also be set to use the native WooCommerce cost of goods field instead of storing costs separately.
Can it calculate cost of goods for me?
Yes. A bulk action on the Home tab calculates cost of goods from the purchase price, other cost and shipping cost you have entered for products. Cost and purchase price snapshots are also kept for order line items, including orders created in the admin.
Can I get the report data into a spreadsheet?
Yes. Reports and filtered data can be exported to CSV or .xlsx files, which is handy for accounting, record keeping or deeper analysis in a spreadsheet application.
Do refunds affect the profit numbers?
Refunds are shown directly in order and product reports, so you can see how returned money changes the profit picture for specific products and orders.
Is Cost Reports free?
