What it does
Directory sites often fill up with listings that nobody on the business side looks after. Hours change, phone numbers go stale and reviews sit unanswered. This add-on gives real owners a way to step forward and take responsibility for their entries. A business submits a claim, you check it, and once you approve it the owner can edit their own details, photos and contact information instead of asking you to do it for them.
The plugin runs on top of the Directorist directory plugin and works inside its existing listing system. You stay in charge through a moderated approval workflow where you can approve or reject each claim, and you can configure the claim requirements to match how strict you want verification to be. Email notifications keep you and the claimant informed as a claim moves along, and claimed listings display a verified owner badge so visitors can see which entries are managed by the business itself.
