What it does
AMP has strict rules about the markup and scripts a page can use, and a table of contents that works fine on a regular page can break or disappear on its AMP version. That leaves mobile readers on long posts without a quick way to jump between sections. This addon fills that gap by taking the table of contents you already built with Easy Table of Contents and rendering it in a form that AMP accepts, keeping navigation consistent across both versions of each page.
There is very little to set up. The extension detects your current Easy Table of Contents configuration and reuses your chosen styles and structure, so you do not have to rebuild anything for AMP. It works with AMP solutions such as AMP by Automattic, and it handles details like the toggle control, including when toggle on the header text is enabled. It also generates a table of contents for content created with the AMP page builder, which makes it a practical fit for blogs, guides and documentation sites that publish long articles.
