What it does
Stores that use Elavon as their merchant provider need a way to take payments inside WooCommerce without bouncing shoppers to another page. This plugin handles that by placing the payment form directly in your checkout. It accepts major card brands, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, UnionPay and JCB, and it also supports eCheck and ACH bank transfers for customers who prefer not to pay by card. Payments run over SSL as part of the direct checkout setup.
Beyond single purchases, the gateway works with WooCommerce Subscriptions and WooCommerce Pre-Orders, so it suits shops with recurring billing or products sold before release. Saved cards are stored through Elavon's tokenization, and customers can manage them from their account page. On the admin side, you can issue full or partial refunds and void uncaptured transactions from the WooCommerce order screen instead of logging in to the Elavon portal. It requires WooCommerce.
Best for
- WooCommerce stores with an Elavon merchant account
- Subscription shops using WooCommerce Subscriptions
- Stores taking pre-orders or selling internationally

Accept credit cards, debit cards and eCheck or ACH transfers directly on your checkout page, so customers stay on your store while they pay.
Customers can save multiple cards using Elavon's tokenization, then add, update or remove them from their account page without placing an order.
Handles recurring billing with support for subscription payment schedules, date changes and renewal processing for stores that sell on a recurring model.
Collect payment upfront for pre-orders, or charge customers automatically once the product is released, depending on how you sell upcoming items.
Process full or partial refunds and void uncaptured transactions from the WooCommerce order screen, without needing to sign in to the Elavon portal.
Shows specific decline messages in place of generic error notices, so shoppers understand why a payment did not go through and what to try next.
Accept payments in currencies that differ from your store's base currency, which helps shops that sell to customers in other countries.
The checkout form includes retina card icons and inline validation, flagging form errors as customers type their payment details.

Questions about Elavon Converge
Do customers leave my site to pay?
No. The payment form sits directly in your WooCommerce checkout, so customers enter their card or eCheck details on your store. Payments are protected with SSL as part of this direct checkout setup.
Which payment types can my customers use?
Customers can pay with credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, UnionPay and JCB. The plugin also supports eCheck and ACH bank transfers for shoppers who prefer paying from a bank account.
Will it work with my subscription products?
Yes. It supports WooCommerce Subscriptions, including subscription payment schedules, date changes and renewal processing. Saved cards are tokenized through Elavon, which lets renewals be charged to the payment method the customer stored.
Can I refund orders without going into Elavon?
Yes. You can issue full or partial refunds and void uncaptured transactions straight from the WooCommerce order admin. That keeps routine payment tasks inside your store dashboard instead of the Elavon portal.
Is Elavon Converge free?
The code of Elavon Converge is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Elavon Converge is this?
