Bulgarian shoppers often expect to pay through ePay.bg, a local payment system they already know. This plugin adds ePay.bg as a payment option in WooCommerce, which requires the WooCommerce plugin to be active. Customers can pay with debit cards carrying the BORICA logo, with Visa or MasterCard credit cards, or with an ePay.bg micro account. Every transaction is processed in Bulgarian Lev (BGN), which matches how local stores sell.
The payment flow uses a redirect. When a customer places an order, they are sent to ePay.bg's servers to complete payment and then returned to your store, so card details are entered on ePay.bg's side.
