What it does
Stores that process payments through Clover or First Data's Payeezy need a way to take cards inside WooCommerce without sending shoppers elsewhere. This plugin adds an on-site payment form that accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diner's Club and JCB. Card details are tokenized and stored on Clover's servers, so your site does not hold raw card numbers, which reduces your PCI compliance burden. The form detects and formats card types as customers type, and shoppers can save several cards to their account for repeat purchases.
On the admin side, you can authorize payments at checkout and capture them later from the WooCommerce order screen, including capturing many orders at once. Refunds and voids also run from WooCommerce, so there is no need to log into the Clover portal for routine order changes. The gateway works with WooCommerce Subscriptions for recurring billing and with WooCommerce Pre-Orders to charge customers when items are released. It supports the legacy Payeezy API as well as client-side tokenization through Payment.js.

Questions about First Data Clover
Which credit cards can my customers pay with?
The gateway accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diner's Club and JCB. Payments are taken on your own WooCommerce checkout through a form that detects and formats the card type as the customer types.
Does this plugin work with WooCommerce Subscriptions?
Yes. It supports subscription products with recurring billing, payment date adjustments and subscription management. Customers can keep a saved card on file, and the plugin only lets a customer delete their own saved card when removing a payment method tied to a subscription.
Can I capture payments after checkout instead of charging right away?
Yes. You can authorize the payment at checkout and capture it later from the WooCommerce order screen. Bulk capture lets you process many authorized orders at once, and you can void authorizations you no longer need.
Are customer card numbers stored on my website?
No. Card details are tokenized and the tokens are stored on Clover's servers, which reduces your PCI compliance burden. Client-side tokenization through Payment.js is also supported, and sensitive data is masked in debug logs.
Is First Data Clover free?
