What’s new in Formidable forms for AMP 1.0.9
Version 1.0.9 · Sep 2, 2022
Latest
- FixedResolved the issue of message not showing after form submission when using AMP
What it does
AMP pages follow strict rules about scripts and markup, and standard WordPress forms often break or disappear when a page is served in AMP format. That leaves mobile visitors without a way to contact you, answer a survey or take a quiz. This extension fills that gap for sites that build their forms with Formidable Forms. It reads your current form setup and renders those forms in AMP format, keeping their design and behavior close to what desktop visitors see.
The setup is plug and play. Once the extension is running, your forms appear on AMP pages without extra settings or custom code. It works with forms added through shortcodes and with the pre-built templates that come with Formidable Forms, and it supports the plugin's field types. Form validation carries over to AMP too, including custom and complex fields, and confirmation messages display after a visitor submits. It suits any AMP-enabled WordPress site that relies on Formidable Forms for collecting information.
Best for
- WordPress sites using AMP alongside Formidable Forms
- Blogs and publishers collecting contact requests on mobile
- Site owners running surveys or quizzes on AMP pages
