What’s new in GamiPress EDD Points Gateway 1.1.5
Version 1.1.5
Latest
- ImprovedAdded a filter for vendor point deductions when a refund is processed.
What it does
Points systems work best when the points can be spent on something real. If you already reward users with GamiPress points for activity on your site, this add-on gives those points a practical use: buying digital goods from your Easy Digital Downloads store. Customers who have built up a balance can choose points at checkout and cover the full cost of an order, which turns gamification into a direct reward tied to your products.
The gateway sits inside the familiar Easy Digital Downloads checkout and runs alongside the payment gateways you already offer, so shoppers can pick points or a standard method. Customers can see their points balance at checkout, and you can configure how points are redeemed and applied to purchases. It requires both GamiPress and Easy Digital Downloads, and it follows WordPress coding standards, so developers can customize it, including a filter for vendor point deductions when a refund is processed.
Best for
- Easy Digital Downloads stores already running GamiPress
- Sites rewarding user activity with spendable points
- Developers building custom gamified digital product stores
