What it does
Course creators often want honest feedback, and new visitors want to know what a course is like before enrolling. This add-on gives students a place to leave a rating and a review on courses they are taking or have finished. Reviews are switched on across all courses as soon as the add-on is active, so there is little setup. If a course should not collect feedback, you can turn reviews off for that course alone.
Reviews are stored in the native WordPress comment system, which means you approve, edit and remove them with the same tools you already use for comments. Sorting and display follow your WordPress Discussion Settings. To keep feedback grounded in real experience, students can only submit a review after completing at least one lesson or the entire course. It fits any LearnDash site that wants student opinions shown alongside course content.
Best for
- Online schools built on LearnDash
- Instructors who want student feedback on course pages
- Course sites that moderate content through WordPress comments
Features
Learners can leave a rating along with written feedback on courses they are taking or have completed, giving future students real experiences to read.
Once the add-on is active, course reviews are enabled across all of your courses automatically, with no extra configuration needed to get started.
Reviews use the native comment system, so you can approve, edit or remove them through the familiar WordPress comment tools.
Turn off reviews for any specific course when you do not want feedback shown there, while leaving them active on your other courses.
Students can submit a review only after completing at least one lesson or the full course, so feedback comes from learners who have engaged with it.

Questions about LearnDash Course Reviews
Can any visitor leave a review on my courses?
No. Students must complete at least one lesson or the entire course before they can submit a review. This keeps reviews coming from learners who have actually worked through some of the material.
How do I moderate or remove reviews?
Reviews are stored through the native WordPress comment system. You can approve, edit or remove them using the standard comment tools in your WordPress dashboard, with no separate moderation plugin needed.
Can I disable reviews on just one course?
Yes. Reviews are enabled on all courses by default, but you can deactivate them for any individual course while keeping them on everywhere else.
Can I change the order reviews appear in?
Review ordering and display follow your WordPress Discussion Settings, so adjusting those settings changes how reviews are sorted and shown on your course pages.
Is LearnDash Course Reviews free?
The code of LearnDash Course Reviews is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of LearnDash Course Reviews is this?
Version 1.0.2, released Jun 19, 2024. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update LearnDash Course Reviews?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of LearnDash Course Reviews automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
