What it does
Custom post types let WordPress handle content beyond posts and pages, like portfolios, testimonials or store products. When you look after many client sites, editing that content usually means signing into every site one by one. This extension moves that work into the MainWP Dashboard, so you can create, change or remove custom post type entries on your child sites from one place. It also handles the custom fields attached to those entries and loads their categories, which keeps related details editable from the same screen.
The extension works with custom post types that already exist on your child sites, whether a plugin, a theme or custom code registered them, so you do not need to create new types. It covers WooCommerce products too, which helps if you manage several stores. There is no cap on how many custom post types you can manage. Because MainWP is self-hosted, your client and site data stays on your own server. It requires the MainWP Dashboard plugin and fits agencies and freelancers running many sites.
