What it does
Checking security on a dozen or more WordPress sites one at a time takes a lot of clicking. This extension moves that work into the MainWP Dashboard you already use. Each connected Child Site is scanned daily against the WPScan vulnerability database, covering WordPress core, installed plugins and themes. Findings sync back to the dashboard, so you can see which sites have problems without logging into each one.
Setup works through the Jetpack Scan API, and you manage all site connections from a single screen. A Jetpack Scan widget on the MainWP Overview page gives a short summary of vulnerabilities and their status. From there you can run scans on demand, read threat details with severity and suggested fixes, apply quick fixes for many issues and review past threats in the History tab. Installing the Jetpack plugin on Child Sites is optional and adds more security tools.
Best for
- Agencies managing many client WordPress sites in MainWP
- Freelancers who handle security for several WordPress sites
- Site administrators who want vulnerability reports in one dashboard
