What it does
Once more than one person manages client sites from a MainWP Dashboard, giving everyone the same access becomes a risk. Default WordPress roles are too broad for this kind of setup. This extension lets you build roles around real responsibilities, so a content editor, a developer and a support person each see only the sites and tools that match their work. It follows the least privilege idea: people get the access they need and nothing more.
Everything runs inside the MainWP Dashboard, which this extension requires, with no extra plugins or external APIs. You define a role, choose its permissions for specific Child sites, Dashboard areas and individual MainWP Extensions, then assign it to users. Permissions also cover REST API access, including API keys and application passwords, plus backup management actions. The Users tab supports filtering by several roles and changing roles in bulk, which helps as an agency adds staff.

No. It is an extension for the MainWP Dashboard and works directly inside it. You need MainWP in place, but no additional plugins or external APIs are required for the team features.
