What it does
Selling flooring, wallpaper, mulch or fabric through a standard store is awkward, because customers think in square feet or cubic yards while the store thinks in units. This plugin closes that gap. It offers two calculator modes. The quantity-based mode suits items with known measurements, such as boxes of tile, and works out how many a customer needs. The user-defined mode lets shoppers enter their own measurements and get a price based on a per-unit rate like square feet.
The plugin also handles the back office side of measured goods. Stock can be tracked per measurement unit, and shipping weight is calculated per unit so shipping rates reflect what was ordered. You can set pricing tables with breaks across measurement ranges, customize labels and units, and limit inputs with step, minimum and maximum values. It works with WooCommerce variable products and includes a room walls calculator for wallpaper, plus optional overage estimates.
