What it does
Many stores sell items that make sense in bundles, but fixed bundles force buyers to take products they may not want. This plugin lets you create a container product with a set pack size and a list of allowed items. Shoppers pick quantities of each item until the box is full, so a variety pack, fruit basket or gift set reflects their own choices. Both simple products and product variations can be included in an assortment.
On the product page, the options appear in a table similar to a grouped product, with plus and minus buttons for quantities. You decide whether the assortment has one static price or a per-item price that totals automatically. Shipping can be handled together, separately or skipped for digital and pickup items, and stock is tracked for each product and for the container. It requires WooCommerce and works with extensions such as Subscriptions, Shipping Multiple Addresses, Points and Rewards, and Pre-Orders.
