What it does
Different payment gateways cost a store different amounts to process, and many shop owners want those costs reflected at checkout. This plugin handles that automatically. When a customer chooses a payment method, the matching fee is added to the order. You set fees per gateway, and you can also apply them to selected products. Fees can be a fixed amount, a percentage of the product price or order total, or a commission rate, and you can set minimum and maximum limits at the cart and product level so charges stay within a sensible range.
The plugin requires WooCommerce and works inside its checkout flow, including WooCommerce Block Checkout. Taxes can be calculated on the added fees, so your records stay accurate, and there is beta support for automated taxes through the WooCommerce Tax plugin. Administrators can add or change fees on orders during and after checkout to handle exceptions. Fee descriptions can be translated with WPML for multilingual stores, specific customer email addresses can be excluded from fees, and a simple toggle pauses or restores gateway fees across the site without losing your settings.
Best for
- WooCommerce stores passing payment processing costs to customers
- Shops encouraging buyers toward a preferred payment method
- Multilingual WooCommerce stores using WPML
