What it does
A store with more than a handful of products quickly becomes hard to browse. Shoppers who want a certain size, color or price range end up scrolling through pages of items that do not match. This plugin gives them filters to narrow the list, and because it uses AJAX, the product grid refreshes in place. Sorting and pagination also work without reloading the page, which helps on larger catalogs where people move through many results.
You choose which criteria to offer and how each one looks. Filter elements include price sliders, checkbox lists, radio buttons, dropdowns, color lists, box lists and text lists. Filters can sit in a sidebar or any widget area through the included widgets, or you can place them with shortcodes next to WooCommerce product shortcodes. Live product counts and adaptive thumbnails show shoppers what each choice will return. The plugin requires WooCommerce.
Best for
- WooCommerce stores with large or varied product catalogs
- Fashion shops filtering by size and color
- Developers building custom shop pages with shortcodes
Features
Filter results load through AJAX, so the product list updates in place when a shopper picks an option instead of reloading the whole page.
Build filters from product categories, attributes, tags, other taxonomies, price ranges and stock status to match how your catalog is organized.
Display each filter as a price slider, checkbox list, radio buttons, dropdown menu, color list, box list or text list.
The Products Filter and Notes for Product Filters widgets can be placed in your store sidebar or any other widgetized area.
Use shortcodes to put filters anywhere on your site, including alongside WooCommerce product shortcodes on custom pages.
Filter options show real-time product counts and adaptive thumbnails, so shoppers can see how many items each choice will return.
Shoppers can sort results and move between pages without a reload, which keeps browsing quick across large product catalogs.
Shoppers can type minimum and maximum prices into the price inputs and press Enter to apply the price filter.

Questions about Product Filters
Does this plugin work without WooCommerce?
No. Product Filters for WooCommerce is built for WooCommerce stores and requires the WooCommerce plugin to be active. It filters WooCommerce products using their categories, attributes, tags, taxonomies, prices and stock status.
Can I filter products by color and size?
Yes, as long as color and size are set up as product attributes or taxonomies. You can display them using elements such as color lists, box lists, checkboxes or dropdowns, depending on what suits your shop layout.
Can I put filters somewhere other than the sidebar?
Yes. Along with the sidebar widgets, the plugin provides shortcodes, so you can place filters on any page or section of your site, including next to WooCommerce product shortcodes on custom layouts.
Will shoppers see how many products match a filter?
Yes. Filter options show real-time product counts and adaptive thumbnails, giving shoppers a clear idea of how many items match before they select an option. Results then update through AJAX without a page reload.
Is Product Filters free?
The code of Product Filters is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Product Filters is this?
Version 1.4.41, released Jul 21, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Product Filters?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Product Filters automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
What does Product Filters need?
Product Filters needs WooCommerce installed and active.
