What it does
Many stores sell items where a fixed price does not fit: bulk orders, wholesale accounts or personalized products. This plugin gives those shoppers a way to ask for pricing instead of checking out. You can replace the Add to Cart button with a quote button or a custom link, hide prices, and limit these changes to chosen user roles, categories or individual products. Regular shoppers can keep buying as usual while other customer groups request tailored pricing.
The quote basket works much like a shopping cart, with a mini basket for quick review before submitting. The submission form accepts unlimited custom fields and can show an offered price field for each product. Once a request arrives, you manage it from the WooCommerce admin panel, send a quote with an attached PDF and convert accepted quotes into orders. Email notifications keep both you and the customer informed as the quote status changes.
Best for
- B2B and wholesale WooCommerce stores
- Shops selling personalized or made-to-order products
- Stores offering bulk pricing by request
Features
Customers add multiple products to a dedicated quote basket, and a mini quote basket lets them review and manage items before they submit the request.
Show quote options only for selected user roles, product categories or individual products, so you decide exactly which shoppers see quote buttons instead of regular pricing.
Hide product prices and swap the Add to Cart button for a quote button or a custom link, which suits wholesale and B2B customers asking for custom pricing.
Let customers enter the price they would like to pay for each product directly in the quote form, giving you a starting point for negotiation.
Add text, email, number, dropdown and checkbox fields to the quote form, mark each as required or optional, and choose a single or two-column layout.
Create, manage and send quotes from the WooCommerce admin panel, then convert accepted quotes into orders without re-entering the details.
Generate PDF quotes to attach to emails, and send automatic notifications to customers and admins when a quote is submitted or its status changes.
Override email templates, the quote basket design and quote detail pages so the quoting process matches the look of your store.

Questions about Request a Quote
Can I show the quote button only to certain customers?
Yes. Rules let you display quote options by user role, product category or individual product. You can, for example, show a quote button to wholesale users while retail shoppers keep the normal Add to Cart button and visible prices.
Can customers suggest their own price?
Yes. The quote form can include a field where customers enter their offered price for each product. You then review the request in the admin panel and respond with your own quote.
Can an accepted quote become a WooCommerce order?
Yes. Quotes are created and managed in the WooCommerce admin panel, and accepted quotes can be converted into orders. Customers and admins also receive email notifications on submission and status updates.
Does it work with product add-ons and page builders?
The plugin is described as compatible with popular page builder plugins and with WooCommerce Product Add-Ons, so it can sit alongside existing product configurations. It requires WooCommerce to run.
Is Request a Quote free?
