Many shoppers want to know where their order stands without digging through their inbox. This plugin sends an SMS through Twilio each time an order moves to a new status, so confirmations, shipping updates and other changes reach the customer's phone. Customers choose whether to get these texts through a checkbox at checkout, and you decide what each message says using order details such as the store name, order ID, amount and status.
The plugin works inside WooCommerce and requires it. It handles standard order statuses as well as custom ones created with tools like Order Status Manager, and it is compatible with WooCommerce Bookings. From the order edit screen you can send a manual text to a customer, even one who has not opted in.
