What it does
Standard WooCommerce checkout collects billing and shipping details, and that is about it. If you want to offer gift wrapping, accept a tip, ask for delivery instructions or let a customer upload a file, you need extra fields. This plugin adds them to the checkout page, with a choice of field types including text fields, text areas, drop-downs, multi-selects, radio buttons, checkboxes and file uploads. Each add-on can be free or carry a fixed or percentage-based fee, and the order total updates in real time as selections change.
Conditional logic decides which add-ons appear, based on the cart subtotal, specific products in the cart or the values of other add-ons. That keeps irrelevant options out of the way. Customer choices and uploaded files are kept if a shopper leaves checkout and comes back. On the admin side, selected add-ons show on order details, confirmation emails and the orders dashboard, where you can filter and sort by add-on fields. It works with WooCommerce Subscriptions, including renewal orders, and with One Page Checkout setups.
