What’s new in WooCommerce Auctions 3.6.2
- FixedStripe automatic payment
What it does
Selling unique or limited items at a fixed price can leave you guessing about what buyers will pay. This plugin lets you sell them by bid inside the store you already run. Each auction gets a starting bid, bid increments, a reserve price, an optional buy it now price, a schedule and an item condition. Increments can vary by value or percentage, and a soft close extends the auction when bids arrive at the last minute, so late bidders do not get an unfair edge.
Bidders get watchlists, a My Auctions page, live AJAX bid refreshing, browser notifications and customizable emails about bids and results. On the admin side you can filter auctions by status, create an auction from any product type, manage bids by hand and relist auctions automatically or manually. Winners can be charged automatically through Stripe. The plugin works with Product Vendors for multi-seller setups, supports WPML (with limited multiple currency support), HPOS and the REST API, and offers shortcodes for Elementor and other builders.
Best for
- WooCommerce stores selling collectibles, rare or one-off items
- Multi-vendor marketplaces built with Product Vendors
- Multilingual shops running auctions with WPML

Questions about WooCommerce Auctions
Does this plugin need WooCommerce?
Yes. It extends WooCommerce by adding an auction product type, so you need WooCommerce running on your site. You can create auctions from any product type and show them alongside regular products or on auction-only pages.
Can I let other users auction their own items?
Yes. The plugin works with the Product Vendors extension, which lets you build an eBay-style marketplace where vendors list their own auctions while you manage the store as a whole.
How does it handle last-second bids?
It has an anti-sniping feature, also called soft close. When someone places a bid near the end, the auction duration is extended so other bidders have time to respond instead of losing to a last-second bid.
Can I design custom auction pages with Elementor?
Yes. The plugin provides shortcodes that work with Elementor and other visual builders, so you can place auction content into custom page layouts without writing code.
Is WooCommerce Auctions free?
The code of WooCommerce Auctions is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of WooCommerce Auctions is this?
Version 3.6.2, released Apr 24, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update WooCommerce Auctions?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of WooCommerce Auctions automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
What does WooCommerce Auctions need?
WooCommerce Auctions needs WooCommerce installed and active.
