What it does
Many stores sell products from several manufacturers or labels, and customers often shop with a favorite brand in mind. Out of the box, WooCommerce gives you categories and tags, but no dedicated place for brands. This plugin fills that gap. It requires WooCommerce and adds brands as their own way to organize products, so a shopper looking for one label can find everything you carry from it without digging through general categories.
Once it is running, you create brands, add a description and logo to each one, and assign them to your products. Each brand gets an archive page listing its products, and logos appear on product pages and brand archives. Customers can filter products by brand, and you can place brand lists anywhere on your site with shortcodes or widgets. It suits small boutique shops and larger catalogs alike.
Best for
- WooCommerce stores selling products from multiple brands
- Boutique shops featuring a curated set of labels
- Large catalogs that need brand-based browsing and filtering
Features
Add and manage as many brands as your catalog needs, then assign products to them so your store is organized around the labels you carry.
Upload a custom logo for each brand. Logos appear on product pages and brand archive pages, giving shoppers a recognizable visual cue.
Every brand gets its own archive page with a description, logo and list of products, so customers can browse one brand's full range in one place.
Brand filters let customers narrow product listings to the brands they want, which makes larger catalogs easier to browse.
Use shortcodes to display brands on pages, posts or other parts of your site, giving you control over where brands appear.
Add brand widgets to sidebars and other widget areas so shoppers can reach brand pages and filters from anywhere in your store.
The plugin works inside your existing WooCommerce setup, adding brands alongside the categories and tags you already use for products.

Questions about WooCommerce Brands
Does this plugin work without WooCommerce?
No. WooCommerce Brands is an extension for WooCommerce and requires it to be active. It adds brands to the WooCommerce product catalog, so it has nothing to work with on a site that does not run WooCommerce.
Can I show brand logos on my product pages?
Yes. You can upload a custom logo for each brand, and those logos appear on product pages and on the brand archive pages. This helps shoppers recognize the labels they already know.
Can customers filter products by brand?
Yes. The plugin includes brand filters that let customers narrow product listings to specific brands. You can also use widgets and shortcodes to put brand lists in sidebars or on any page.
What appears on a brand page?
Each brand has its own archive page that can include a description, the brand logo and a list of the products assigned to that brand. It gives shoppers one place to see everything you carry from a label.
Is WooCommerce Brands free?
The code of WooCommerce Brands is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of WooCommerce Brands is this?
Version 1.7.7, released Nov 7, 2024. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update WooCommerce Brands?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of WooCommerce Brands automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
What does WooCommerce Brands need?
WooCommerce Brands needs WooCommerce installed and active.
