What it does
Fake registrations, spam accounts and orders placed with made-up email addresses clutter a WooCommerce store and make customer communication unreliable. This plugin asks customers to confirm their address by entering a one-time password sent to their inbox. You can apply it to new account signups, to guests placing orders, and optionally to free product orders, which helps stop people from claiming promotional items with throwaway addresses. A built-in list of disposable email domains (430+ domains) adds another filter against spam signups.
The plugin also covers login activity. It can send email alerts when someone logs in and ask for an OTP when an account signs in from a new device or after a period of inactivity. Verification popups and emails can be styled with your own colors, design and messaging. Store managers can review an Unverified Users list and change a customer's verification status, while customers only see their own status. It requires WooCommerce.
