What it does

Many retailers sell below the manufacturer's suggested price, yet WooCommerce has no built-in place to record that figure or show it to shoppers. This plugin adds an MSRP field to the product edit screen, next to the regular price fields. You enter the suggested price, and the plugin displays it on the product page as a struck-through amount, much like a sale price. Customers can then compare the MSRP with your price and see what they save.

For larger catalogs, MSRP values can be imported in bulk through the _msrp meta field, so you do not have to edit every product by hand. The front-end display includes CSS classes you can target to match your theme's design. The plugin works with standard WooCommerce flows, Composite Products and Google Product Feed, and it is compatible with WooCommerce High Performance Order Storage. It also suits stores selling across different countries and currencies.

Best for

  • WooCommerce stores selling products below manufacturer list prices
  • Retailers and resellers of branded goods
  • Stores importing large catalogs with MSRP data

Features

MSRP field on product screens

Add a manufacturer suggested retail price directly on the product edit screen, right alongside the regular price you already set for each item.

Struck-through MSRP display

The MSRP appears on the front end as a struck-through price next to your own price, making the gap between the two easy for shoppers to see.

Custom styling with CSS classes

Flexible CSS classes let you adjust how the MSRP looks so it fits the design of your theme and the rest of your product pages.

Bulk import via meta field

Import MSRP values for many products at once using the _msrp meta field, which saves time when you manage a large inventory.

Composite Products compatibility

Works with Composite Products as well as standard WooCommerce product flows, so you can show MSRP on more advanced product types too.

Google Product Feed support

Compatible with Google Product Feed, so the plugin fits into stores that already use that extension to publish product data.

HPOS compatible

Fully compatible with WooCommerce High Performance Order Storage, so you can keep using the plugin if your store has switched to HPOS.

Questions about WooCommerce MSRP Pricing

Does this plugin need WooCommerce?

Yes. It is built for WooCommerce and adds its MSRP field to the WooCommerce product edit screen, then displays the MSRP on your WooCommerce product pages. It works with standard WooCommerce flows and is compatible with High Performance Order Storage.

Can I add MSRP values to many products at once?

Yes. Along with entering the MSRP on each product's edit screen, you can bulk import values through the _msrp meta field. This is useful for stores with large inventories where editing products one by one would take too long.

How does the MSRP look to customers?

The MSRP is shown as a struck-through price next to your selling price, similar to how WooCommerce shows sale prices. CSS classes are provided so you can style the display to match your theme.

Will it work with Composite Products or Google Product Feed?

The plugin is compatible with both Composite Products and Google Product Feed, in addition to WooCommerce core features. That makes it a reasonable fit for stores already using either of those extensions.

Is WooCommerce MSRP Pricing free?

The code of WooCommerce MSRP Pricing is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
