What it does
Checkout flows built for physical products often include steps that make little sense for digital items, like shipping details and extra page loads. This extension gives WooCommerce a PayPal payment option shaped around downloadable goods. Buyers pay through PayPal with fewer redirects and page reloads, and the payment is confirmed right away, so customers can get to their purchase without waiting.
It runs as a WooCommerce payment gateway, so WooCommerce is required. Setup is meant to be simple and needs little technical knowledge. It supports multiple currencies and international buyers, and it is built to work alongside other WooCommerce extensions and themes. It suits shops whose catalog is mostly or entirely digital, such as eBook authors, musicians and software sellers.
Best for
- WooCommerce stores selling eBooks or other downloads
- Musicians and labels selling digital music
- Developers selling software through WooCommerce
