What it does
Subscriptions for memberships, services and virtual products can be awkward to gift, because a shipping address alone does not tell the store who should actually use the product. This plugin solves that by letting a customer enter the recipient's email during purchase. The extension then creates an account for the recipient, sends them an email notification and guides them through setting up their profile and shipping details, so nobody has to handle the handoff manually.
Once the gift is active, both people share control. The purchaser and the recipient can each view renewal orders, update shipping information, and suspend or cancel the subscription. Pages and orders show who bought the subscription and who receives it, and both parties get email alerts about events such as renewals. Shared data is limited so each person sees only the details they need. It runs on WooCommerce and fits stores that sell recurring products, including those using WooCommerce Memberships.
