What’s new in WooCommerce WishLists 2.4.4
- FixedThe "Date Added" column on the My Lists page and in the Wishlists table under My Account was always empty. It shows each list's date again.
- FixedWith guest wishlists switched off, a logged-out visitor on the wishlist pages now sees the "log in or register" message from the settings instead of an empty box.
What it does
Shoppers often find products they like but are not ready to buy yet. This plugin gives them a place to keep those items. Customers can create as many wishlists as they want, so a gift registry, a holiday list and a personal list can sit side by side. Guests can build lists that are stored for up to 30 days, while registered customers keep their lists indefinitely. Each list can be public, shared through a unique URL, or private, so the customer decides who sees it.
The plugin works with simple products, grouped products and variations, and it supports products built with Product Add-ons and the Gravity Forms Add-on. Store owners can change the add to wishlist button text, swap it for a link, or use icons or stars. Wishlist links can go into your site menus, and the front end picks up your theme's styles, with room for custom CSS. In the admin area, shop managers can view, sort and edit customer wishlists to see which products people are saving.
Best for
- WooCommerce stores selling gift items
- Shops offering wedding or birthday gift registries
- Stores whose customers browse before buying

Questions about WooCommerce WishLists
Can visitors make a wishlist without creating an account?
Yes, guest wishlists are supported and are stored for up to 30 days. Registered customers keep their lists indefinitely. If you switch guest wishlists off, logged-out visitors see the log in or register message you set in the plugin settings.
Does it work with variable products and product add-ons?
It supports simple products, grouped products and product variations. It also works with the Product Add-ons and Gravity Forms Add-on plugins, so customized products can be saved to a list as well.
Can customers keep some wishlists private?
Yes. Each list can be set to public, shared through a unique URL that only people with the link can open, or private so only the customer can see it. This suits personal lists as well as gift registries.
Can I make the wishlist button match my theme?
You can change the button text, display it as a link instead, or use custom icons or stars. Messages and button colors are adjustable in the settings tab, the front end inherits your theme's styles, and you can add custom CSS for finer control.
