This plugin handles that transfer for you. When a sale happens in WooCommerce, it builds a detailed invoice in Xero that includes product details, shipping costs, discounts and tax information, so your records carry the same detail as the original order.
After an invoice is created, payments made through WooCommerce are matched to the right Xero invoice, which keeps reconciliation in step with your store. If Xero's API pushes back with a rate-limit response, the plugin retries sending the payment so orders are not left without one.
