What it does
WooCommerce includes basic password protection, but it gives you little control over what gets hidden and when. This plugin lets you build protection rules that cover your whole store or specific segments such as categories, tags, brands, collections and attributes. That makes it practical for wholesale catalogs, members-only products or exclusive deals, where certain items should stay out of reach for the general public while regular shoppers still see the rest of the store.
Each rule can use one or more passwords, and each password can have its own activation period. You can add date and time conditions, set how long a visitor stays authenticated, and limit failed attempts to slow down password guessing. Protection by user role or individual user is part of the premium version. Rules live in one dashboard where you can preview, duplicate, remove and reorder them, and the plugin requires WooCommerce to run.
