What it does
The default WooCommerce search sends shoppers to a results page and makes them wait to see whether their query matched anything. This plugin replaces that with a popup search that shows matching products while the visitor is still typing. The popup can be opened from any search button on your site, and it can be added to different menus. Results can include quick product details, and shoppers can add items to the cart, a wishlist or a comparison list right from the popup, which keeps them moving through the store.
You decide what the search covers and how it looks. It can search products, tags, categories, brands, types, collections and other sources, alone or combined, and you can filter by categories and SKUs and set result limits. Predefined keywords can surface on-sale, featured, latest or popular products, and the premium smart search rules can return products, categories, posts or custom messages for specific terms. It suits stores with large catalogs, including wholesalers, and it works alongside other WPC plugins such as Smart Quick View.
