What it does
A personal site has to do two jobs: show what you have made and explain who you are. This theme handles both with portfolio layouts for your projects and dedicated sections for your resume and skills. You can adjust colors, fonts and page structures through the theme options without writing code, so the site can match your own style rather than looking like a generic template.
Getting started is quicker with the one-click demo import, which loads a pre-designed demo you can then edit. Pages are built with drag and drop page builder integration, and the responsive design adapts the layout for desktops, tablets and phones. Typography options draw on Google Fonts, and the theme is translation ready, which helps if you want to present your portfolio in more than one language.
Best for
- Freelancers presenting client work and services

Questions about Merge
Can I build a resume site with this theme as well as a portfolio?
Yes. Along with several portfolio layouts for displaying projects, the theme includes dedicated sections for presenting your professional background and skills, so one site can cover both your work samples and your resume.
Do I need to know how to code to customize it?
No. Colors, fonts and page structures can be changed through the theme options, and the drag and drop page builder integration lets you arrange page content visually without writing any code.
Is there a quick way to get a starting design in place?
The one-click demo import loads a pre-designed demo onto your site. From there you can swap in your own projects, text and images and adjust the layout to suit your style.
Will my portfolio work on phones and in other languages?
The theme uses a responsive design that adapts to desktops, tablets and smartphones. It is also translation ready, so you can set up a multilingual version of your site.
Is Merge free?
The code of Merge is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Merge is this?
