What it does
A directory site has to handle many listings that each carry different details, and visitors need a quick way to narrow them down. This theme lets you define your own listing types with custom fields, taxonomies and attributes, then build search filters around them. A restaurant guide, an event portal and a property site can each use the fields and criteria that make sense for that niche. Location features support autocomplete, geocoding and map interactions, which helps with place-based searches.
Pages are built with a drag-and-drop visual editor, so you can lay out your site without writing code. Several pre-built demos for different industries give you a starting point. Users can submit and manage their own listings from the front end, and each listing can collect reviews and ratings. If you want the directory to earn money, you can set up paid listings, subscriptions or featured listing packages. The design is responsive and retina ready for phones, tablets and desktops.
