What it does
A blog lives or dies on how easy it is to read, and that means clear typography, sensible layouts and pages that work on phones as well as desktops. This theme is built on the Twitter Bootstrap framework, so its grid is mobile first and the layout adapts to any screen size. It is also retina ready, which keeps graphics sharp on high resolution displays. Google Fonts support and various post formats help you present stories, recipes, travel notes or company updates in a style that suits them.
You start by picking one of 8 homepage designs, then adjust the colors with one of 12 premade schemes or your own custom choices. Sliders with touch and swipe support, Isotope filterable galleries and a built-in contact form cover common blog needs. Social feed widgets can display your Twitter and Instagram activity, and WPML compatibility lets you run the blog in more than one language. The templates are valid HTML5 and come with documentation.
Best for
- Personal bloggers sharing travel, lifestyle or reflective writing
- Food and fashion blogs that rely on images
- Small businesses publishing company news and updates
