What it does
Many Virtue Premium sites end up looking alike, and changing the design by hand means editing templates and styles you then have to maintain. This child theme sits on top of Virtue Premium and changes how content is presented. Because it works as a child theme, the parent theme keeps handling the core features, and the bold styling comes from the child layer. You need Virtue Premium installed as the base for it to work.
The changes focus on visual presentation. Content images overlap with text on nearly every post type, page titles show in a fullwidth layout by default, and post meta is reordered so the date and category get more prominence. That makes it a good fit for bloggers, creatives and shop owners who like what Virtue Premium does but want a more distinctive look. It can also be used across multiple sites, which suits developers handling several client projects.
Best for
- Existing Virtue Premium sites wanting a bolder look
- Bloggers and creatives with image-heavy posts
- Agencies styling several Virtue Premium client sites
Features
Image overlap effect
Content images overlap with surrounding text on nearly every post type, creating a layered look where pictures and words interact on the page.
Fullwidth page titles
Page titles appear in a bold, fullwidth layout by default, giving each page a distinctive header band across the top.
Rearranged post meta
Post meta output is reorganized to put the date and category up front, so readers can quickly see when a post was published and where it belongs.
Built on Virtue Premium
The child theme runs on top of Virtue Premium and stays compatible with its features, so you keep the parent theme's options while changing the style.
Styling for posts, pages and products
The design changes apply to how posts, pages and products are presented, giving blogs and online stores a consistent bold appearance.
Use on multiple sites
The theme can be used on unlimited websites, which helps developers and agencies apply the same styling across several client projects.
Questions about Virtue Bold Child Theme
Do I need Virtue Premium to use this child theme?
Yes. Virtue Bold is a child theme built specifically for Virtue Premium, so the parent theme must be installed on your site. The child theme adds its bold styling on top while Virtue Premium continues to provide the core features.
Will I lose any Virtue Premium features by switching to it?
No. The child theme is designed to stay fully compatible with Virtue Premium's features. It changes how posts, pages and products look, such as image overlaps, fullwidth titles and post meta order, without removing parent theme functionality.
What actually changes in the design?
Three main things change: content images overlap with text on nearly every post type, page titles display fullwidth by default, and post meta is rearranged to give the date and category more prominence.
Is it suitable for an online store?
It can be. The styling covers products along with posts and pages, so a store built on Virtue Premium gets the same bold presentation across its catalog and content.
Is Virtue Bold Child Theme free?
The code of Virtue Bold Child Theme is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Virtue Bold Child Theme is this?
Version 1.0.2. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Virtue Bold Child Theme?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Virtue Bold Child Theme automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
