What it does
A new member on a social site often starts with no friends and no one to follow, which makes the community feel quiet. This plugin fixes that by creating connections automatically at registration. You build lists of users, mark each list as a friendship, follower or following list, and the plugin links new members to the people on those lists. It requires BuddyPress and also works on BuddyBoss sites, respecting whichever friendship and follow components you have turned on.
Lists can be global, applying to every new member, or conditional, applying only when a new user matches profile fields, user roles or member types. That lets you connect a new member with the people most relevant to them. Beyond registration, the plugin can add or remove connections when users join, leave or are removed from groups, and it can create or sync relationships across existing users in bulk. A Connection Creator tool also lets admins link any two users by hand.

Yes. The plugin works with both BuddyPress and BuddyBoss. It checks which friendship and follow components are enabled on your site and creates connections that match what is available.
Can I connect new users only with certain people based on their profile?
Yes. Besides global lists that apply to everyone, you can create conditional lists that apply only when a new user matches set profile fields, user roles or member types.
What about members who registered before I added the plugin?
The bulk relationship tools let you create or synchronize friendships and following relationships across existing users, so earlier members can be connected according to your lists too.
