What’s new in Bit Social Pro 1.19.0
Version 1.19.0 · Sep 15, 2026
Latest
- NewAuto Post: Newly published posts now wait until their publish data has fully settled before sharing, so taxonomy filters, custom fields and classic meta-box saves are all included in the auto-post.
- ImprovedAuto Post: A delayed rule still counts from the actual publish time even when the share waits for the post's data to finish saving.
- ImprovedScheduling: Delayed auto-post events are no longer spaced apart during cron catch-up, so multiple due rules for the same post can all publish on time without pushing back other schedules.
- FixedAuto Post: Block editor follow-up saves no longer cause shares to miss their final taxonomy terms or meta values.
- FixedAuto Post (Pro): Delayed auto-post schedules now keep their intended publish-time timing even when a post matches multiple delayed rules.
What it does
Running a website and several social accounts usually means copying links, logging in and out of different apps and trying to remember what went out where. This plugin moves that work into WordPress. You can plan posts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and other channels, set auto-post rules that share newly published content, and add delays so shares go out at a chosen time after publishing. Auto-posts wait until a post's taxonomy terms, custom fields and meta values have finished saving, so shared content reflects the final version.
Beyond scheduling, the plugin adds tools for teams and campaigns. Saved post templates help keep a consistent format across channels, bulk upload handles many posts at once, and a built-in URL shortener produces cleaner links you can track. An engagement feed collects comments, mentions and interactions in one place, while analytics and AI-powered suggestions point to trending topics and posting times. User roles let you decide who on the team can do what. It works as an add-on to the Bit Social plugin.

Questions about Bit Social Pro
Which social networks can I post to?
The plugin supports scheduling and automated posting to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn, along with other channels. All of them are managed from your WordPress dashboard, so you can keep posting consistent across platforms from one screen.
Will auto-posts include my categories and custom fields?
Yes. Newly published posts wait until their publish data has fully settled before sharing, so taxonomy filters, custom fields and classic meta-box saves are included. Follow-up saves in the block editor no longer cause shares to miss final terms or meta values.
Can my team use it without full admin access?
User role management lets you assign different access levels to team members. That way several people can collaborate on scheduling and posting while you keep control over who can change what.
Do I need anything else for this plugin to work?
Bit Social Pro is an add-on that works alongside the Bit Social plugin, which provides the base social posting features that the Pro version extends.
Is Bit Social Pro free?
The code of Bit Social Pro is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Bit Social Pro is this?
Version 1.19.0, released Sep 15, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Bit Social Pro?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Bit Social Pro automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
What does Bit Social Pro need?
Bit Social Pro needs Bit Social installed and active.
