What it does
On a community site, people often want to reach a specific member, but publishing email addresses invites spam and privacy problems. This plugin adds a dedicated contact form to BuddyPress profiles, so messages reach the profile owner while their address stays hidden. It works separately from the BuddyPress private messaging system, which means logged-out visitors can also get in touch if you allow it. It requires BuddyPress and is compatible with Youzify and BuddyBoss.
Site administrators decide who can send messages, which user roles can be contacted and whether file attachments are allowed. Members can switch their own form on or off. Spam protection comes from Google reCAPTCHA v3, and notifications can go to several admin addresses. You can also stop emails to profile owners and route everything to the site admin email. A shortcode places the form anywhere, and developers can add fields or change its look through hooks, filters and theme overrides.
