Sites that run a points system with myCred often want members to be able to buy points directly instead of only earning them. This plugin handles that purchase step through Stripe. A user pays by credit card, Stripe processes the payment on its own secure infrastructure, and the matching points or credits are added to the user's balance. Card details are handled by Stripe, so sensitive payment data stays within Stripe's system.
Setup happens in a WordPress admin interface and does not require coding. Once connected, payments and point balances update as transactions happen, and a record of every transaction and payment history is kept in the dashboard for review.
