Custom Item Success Page
GetPaid Custom Item Success Page is a WordPress plugin by GeoDirectory Team that extends the GetPaid plugin. It lets you send buyers to a specific success or thank-you page based on the item they purchased, instead of one generic confirmation page for every order.

What it does
Out of the box, a store usually sends every buyer to the same confirmation page after checkout. That works, but it means someone who bought a course sees the same message as someone who paid for a service. This extension for GetPaid fixes that by letting you assign a separate success page to each item, so the page buyers land on can match what they just paid for, with relevant instructions, a personal thank you or details about related offers.
Setup happens on the item itself. Each item gets a Success Page URL field, and you paste in the address of the page you want buyers to see, with no coding involved. That page can live on your own site or on an external service such as TypeForm, which is handy for surveys or onboarding forms. Items without a custom URL keep sending buyers to your default success page, so you only configure the items that need it.
Best for
- Sites selling items or services through GetPaid
- Sellers wanting item-specific thank-you or onboarding pages
- Store owners collecting post-purchase feedback with TypeForm
Features
Assign a different post-purchase page to every item, so buyers are redirected to content that relates directly to the product they bought.
Point the success page to an address off your site, such as a TypeForm survey or another third-party page, instead of a page on your own WordPress install.
When an item has no custom success page URL set, buyers are sent to the default success page, so every checkout still ends somewhere sensible.
A Success Page URL field is added to each item, letting you configure redirects from the item settings without writing any code.
Send buyers to pages that present paid upgrades, extra support or add-ons tied to their purchase, without relying on pop-ups at checkout.
Works inside your existing GetPaid setup, so per-item success pages are managed alongside the rest of your items and payments.
Questions about Custom Item Success Page
Do I need GetPaid for this to work?
Yes. This is an extension for the GetPaid plugin, so GetPaid needs to be running on your WordPress site. The extension adds a Success Page URL field to your GetPaid items and handles the redirect after purchase.
Can the success page be hosted somewhere other than my site?
Yes. The Success Page URL can point to an external address, such as a TypeForm form or another third-party page. This makes it easy to run a survey, intake form or onboarding flow right after someone pays.
What happens if I leave the success page field empty for an item?
Buyers of that item are redirected to your default success page. You only need to fill in the field for items where you want a custom page, and everything else keeps working as before.
Do I need to write code to set up custom success pages?
No. You add the page address in the Success Page URL field on each item. There is no coding involved, so anyone who manages items in GetPaid can configure it.
Is Custom Item Success Page free?
The code of Custom Item Success Page is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Custom Item Success Page is this?
Version 2.0.0, released Jan 23, 2023. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Custom Item Success Page?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Custom Item Success Page automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
What does Custom Item Success Page need?
Custom Item Success Page needs GetPaid installed and active.
