What it does
Achievements earned inside a WordPress gamification system usually stay on that one site. This add-on connects your GamiPress setup to Badgr, which issues badges that follow the Open Badges standard. You choose which achievements to sync, and when a user earns one of them, the badge is issued on Badgr automatically. That gives learners and members a verifiable credential they can carry to professional and educational networks, such as a resume, a LinkedIn profile, a portfolio or a digital wallet.
The plugin requires GamiPress and works alongside your existing achievements. Users can connect their site accounts with their Badgr profiles so badges stay in sync, and you can import badges that already exist on Badgr into your site. Settings and monitoring live in the WordPress dashboard. It fits e-learning sites, employee training programs, community sites and customer loyalty programs that already reward users with GamiPress and want those rewards to count beyond the site.
Best for
- E-learning sites that award achievements for course progress
- Employee training programs issuing verifiable credentials
- Community and loyalty sites already using GamiPress
