What it does
If your site already rewards users through GamiPress, coupon codes give you another way to hand out those rewards. You can share a code at an event, in a newsletter or on a special page, and anyone eligible who enters it receives the points, achievement or rank you attached. This works well for promotions, loyalty rewards and encouraging people to take part in activities on your site.
Each coupon can carry an expiry date, a cap on how many times it can be redeemed and conditions that limit it to specific users or user roles. When a user redeems a valid code, the reward is credited to their account automatically. You place the redemption form on pages with shortcodes or widgets, and a central dashboard lists active, expired and redeemed coupons. The add-on requires the GamiPress plugin.
