What it does
GamiPress tracks achievements, points, ranks and steps, but users may not notice when something changes unless they go looking. This add-on closes that gap by showing a notification the moment an event happens. A member who completes a step or picks up a points award sees it on the page, and the same goes for points deductions, so people always know where their balance stands. It requires the GamiPress plugin and works with all of its types: achievements, ranks, points and steps.
Administrators decide what each notification says, how it looks and where it appears on the screen. You can set how long alerts stay visible, turn on optional sound effects, and let users dismiss a notification with a click. These settings help the alerts match your site design and keep them from getting in the way. The notifications are responsive, so they display properly on phones and tablets as well as desktop screens.
