GamiPress - Submissions

by GamiPress gamipress.com v1.1.2 Unlimited sites

GamiPress - Submissions by GamiPress is an add-on for the GamiPress gamification plugin. It lets users earn achievements and ranks by sending in a form that an administrator reviews, then approves or rejects, which makes it a fit for activities that need a person to confirm them.

What’s new in GamiPress - Submissions 1.1.2

Version 1.1.2 Latest
  • ImprovedUpdated to the latest version WordPress 7.1.

What it does

Some accomplishments cannot be tracked automatically. A user might attend a workshop, finish volunteer hours or earn a certification, and none of that shows up as an action on your site. This add-on gives those users a way to claim credit. They fill out a submission form, optionally adding a note that explains what they did or points to their evidence, and the request waits for an administrator to check it before anything is awarded.

On the admin side, all received submissions are collected on one management screen, where you can look through them and approve or reject each one. Once a submission is approved, the related achievement or rank is granted through GamiPress as usual. The add-on requires the GamiPress plugin and works inside its existing system of achievements and ranks, so it suits education platforms, community challenges, professional certification programs and other sites that reward real-world effort.

Best for

  • Online courses and education sites using GamiPress
  • Community sites running challenges with real-world tasks
  • Programs that verify certifications or volunteer hours

Features

Submission forms for achievements

Users can submit a form to request an achievement or rank, giving you a way to reward tasks that GamiPress cannot detect on its own.

Manual review and approval

Administrators check each submission before anything is granted, so rewards only go out after someone has confirmed the activity actually happened.

Optional notes field

Forms can include an optional notes field where users explain their submission or add context, giving reviewers more to go on when deciding.

Central submissions screen

All received submissions appear on a dedicated admin screen where you can view, organize, approve or reject them in one place.

Automatic awarding after approval

When a submission is approved, the matching GamiPress achievement or rank is unlocked for the user without any extra steps on your part.

Support for offline tasks

Works well for activities that happen away from the website, such as workshops, volunteer work or certifications that users need to report themselves.
