What it does
Many sites reward users with points for activity, but those points often have nowhere useful to go. This add-on gives them a spending outlet inside your shop. When a customer reaches checkout, they can choose to redeem a set number of their points, and the order total drops by the matching value. The rest of the order is paid as usual through your normal payment methods, so points and money work together on the same purchase.
As the store owner, you decide how points translate into currency by setting a conversion rate that fits your pricing. You can also set redemption rules, such as a minimum number of points required or a cap on the discount a single order can receive. Once an order is placed, the redeemed points are taken from the customer's balance automatically. The add-on also handles taxes when points are applied and avoids applying point discounts to subscription renewals. It requires both GamiPress and WooCommerce.
