- ImprovedBumping version to regenerate archive for WordPress 6.4.3 compatibility.
What it does
Many sites built on MediaPress let members share and view media, but give visitors no simple way to save a file for later. This add-on fills that gap. It works inside your existing MediaPress setup and places download buttons and links on your media, so people can keep a copy of a photo, video, audio track or document without hunting for a workaround. Your galleries and layout stay as they are.
You stay in charge of who can download what. Role-based permissions let you open downloads to everyone or limit them to certain user roles, and a simple admin screen holds the download settings. Tracking support shows which files people download most, which helps you see what your audience values. It suits community platforms, online portfolios and multimedia blogs that already use MediaPress.
Best for
- Community sites running BuddyDev's MediaPress
- Online portfolios that offer files for visitors to save
